Tottenham Hotspurs striker Harry Kane has claimed that no player from White Hart Lane will leave for China.
Chelsea’s Oscar completed a record move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG at the start of the new year, who was followed by John Obi Mikel to the far-east.
Meanwhile, another Blues star Diego Costa has received an offer to move to China in a mega money move.
Chinese clubs have been spending big for two transfer windows now, having signed the likes of Hulk, Axel Witsel, Carlos Tevez and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Earlier this month Tottenham star Dele Alli had also received a mammoth offer from the CSL, which the player turned down.
Meanwhile, Kane has said that the current crop of players want to stay at Tottenham and achieve glory under boss Mauricio Pochettino.
“People are going to speculate about that but you can see how good a shape the club is in,” said Kane.
“The future is very bright. We’ve got one of the best managers in the world, if not the best. I’m pretty sure he’d stay [if a Chinese Super League club came in for Pochettino], he’s started a project here, we’ve got the stadium coming, so the future is very bright.”
“Performances like West Brom and winning games like that, the next step for us is winning trophies, so hopefully we can do that this season and push us onto the world scale.”
“I’d be very surprised if any of our players went out there, especially within the next couple of seasons. What we’ve got going on here is something very great and I think it would be silly for the players here not to be part of it.”
Tottenham have moved upto second place in the Premier League after Liverpool faced to secure three points against Manchester United on Sunday.
