Real Madrid star Karim Benzema could replace Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez next season, according to media reports in Spain.
Sanchez’s current contract at Arsenal is set to expire after 14 months and the Chilean has stalled negotiations over a new deal. The Gunners hierarchy is now worried that they might have to lose the former Barcelona man on a free transfer.
And now Arsenal have reignited their interest in Karim Benzema in order to replace Sanchez, if the Chilean opts to leave the Gunners in the summer.
Benzema has been linked with several top-flight European clubs – including AC Milan, Chelsea, Juventus and PSG.
