Mario Balotelli will be a Borussia Dortmund player next season if super agent Mino Raiola is to be trusted.
Journalists were gathered awaiting the arrival of new boss Peter Bosz from Ajax – and were in for a surprise when Raiola showed up.
The super agent recently suggested that the German side were interested in the star forward, along with French side Marseille.
“Yes,” Raiola said when asked if he was at at the club to discuss the 26-year-old Italian. “Balotelli will play for Dortmund.”
Meanwhile, it is not sure whether Mino was serious or just goofing around with the media.
It has also been reported that Raiola could have been at the club to negotiate for one of his youth stars and not for super Mario.
Balotelli is a free agent having spent last season on loan at OGC Nice, where he scored 17 goals in 28 appearances – helping the minnows qualify for Champions League.
The Italian has re-invented his form in France and is looking to make a comeback in the national team as well as sign for a big club after an impressive season in the Ligue 1 – having signed last season on a free transfer from Liverpool after not being able to impress Jurgen Klopp.
