Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have named Victor Lindelof as their primary target in the January transfer window.
The 22 year old Swedish centre back is expected to cost around £37.8 million but reports suggest that Manchester United may end up paying £50 million as Benfica are demanding various add-ons.
Jose Mourinho is also interested in signing Lindelof’s team-mate Nelson Semedo, according to reports in Portugal, but Benfica are reluctant to let both go in January.
Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira is in advanced negotiations to seal the deal for what could be a club record fee. But Vieira is keen to hold onto Nelson Semedo.
After breaking into the Portuguese squad recently, the 23 year old Benfica right back is on Manchester United radar who want to secure his services and return to him to Benfica on loan.
