Man City And Real Madrid Locked In £110M Chase For Mbappe With Man Utd And PSG Keeping An Eye On Him

Published on:

Premier League giants Manchester City and Real Madrid are now locked in a world record £110million transfer battle for AS Monaco’s teen sensation Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has displayed incredible form for AS Monaco this season – guiding them top of the table in Ligue 1 and also to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Mbappe had found the net in both matches against Man City as Monaco kicked out Pep Guardiola’s men out of the Champions League in the last 16.

The French teen sensastion has been under the radar of top flight European clubs but only Man City and La Liga giants Real Madrid have have officially voiced their interest in the 18-year-old striker.

And sources reveal that Monaco would demand a whooping transfer fee for their prized possession that could surpass the world record £89m that Manchester United splurged to rope in Paul Pogba from Juventus last summer.

Manchester United and Ligue 1 champions PSG are also monitoring the availability of Mbappe.

But Manchester City and Real Madrid are now at loggerheads for securing the services of the most sough after teenager in the game of football and it is expected that the transfer saga will heat up as the season ends – with more interested parties to join the transfer battle.

However, it is believed that the French teen superstar’s dream is to play for the La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Manchester City would not want to splurge a world record transfer fee for Mbappe but pundits belive that it is their only chance to lure away the French striker from under the noses of Real Madrid.

Mourinho is also keen on signing a new striker in the summer and sources revealed that he has identified the French teen star as one of his potential targets, but Manchester United are yet to reveal their interest officially.

The tables can turn in United’s favour as the transfer deal would be taken care of by Mourinho’s super-agent Jorge Mendes, who had earlier lured away Anthony Martial to United from AS Monaco.

Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested but unlikely to bid that high while big-spending PSG are also keen.
