Alvaro Morata is set to reject Premier League offers in a bod to return to Italy this summer.
The Real Madrid outcast is wanted by the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United – but he is all set to sign for Italian giants AC Milan.
Reports in Spain and Italy claim that Morata will sign for the Rossoneri in a deal worth £52 million.
Arsene Wenger has been a huge admirer of the 24-year-old and even made several offers for him, before losing out to Juventus in 2014.
The Gunners boss was keen to sign the Spaniard this summer, but is now set to lose out on the dynamic forward once again.
The La Liga champions exercised their buyback clause last summer and reclaimed the Spain international for £28 million.
Morata managed just 14 starts in the entire campaign last season, with just five games where he played the full length.
The 24-year-old enjoyed during his time in Turin with Juventus and is keen on moving back to Italy, with Milan ready to pay him big to lead their attack.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also keen on Morata as he looks to replace Diego Costa, but the Italian will miss out on the 24-year-old – thanks to the big spending spree of Milan’s new Chinese owners.
Rossoneri Sport Investment will pay the frontman around £125,000 a-week to secure his services for the next five seasons.
