Manchester United’s transfer rumours is abuzz with a potential release of Argentinian striker Angel Di Maria.
In a press conference on Wednesday, club manager Louis van Gaal, neither confirmed nor denied reports of Di Maria’s transfer to French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The Argentina international struggled to make an impact in his first season in the Premier League, scoring four goals in 32 appearances after United broke the British transfer record to sign him for £59.7million from Real Madrid.
It is suggested that Di Maria’s wife too is struggling to cope with life in London and is one of the main reasons for the star striker to move across the English Channel.
However, the Dutch man was quick to dismiss the form concerns and believes that Di Maria will need to adapt to the English league conditions.
“In football, it is a process, as I have said many times before in press conferences. It’s not clear in one day.
“It’s a process for Angel Di Maria, it’s a process for Manchester United and we shall see.
“But he is still a member of Manchester United and he has said to me he will come on July 25.”, said Van Gaal.
