Daniel Levy said no Tottenham player will leave the club without the approval of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs chairman Levy insisted Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Co will stay put despite Europe’s elite clubs wanting to offer them higher wage packets.
England full-back Kyle Walker trebled his wages after making a switch to Manchster City in the summer and Spurs superstar Kane has made it clear that the North London club should start winning trophies to tie him down.
But Levy made it clear that Tottenham, who are set to move into their new £750million this summer, will not cash in on their stars.
He said: “I’m 100 per cent confident that every player we want to keep will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season. Everything we do with this stadium is for the benefit for the club.”
Tottenham are preparing new improved contract offers for Three Lions duo Kane and Alli. They are also eyeing to extend Toby Alderweireld’s deal. The Belgian defender’s current contract is set to expire in 2019 but the player has been stalling negotiations since the last year.
Asked whether the club will sign new players to boost their Champions League campaign this month, Levy said: “Mauricio’s strategy has always been if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad, then we’re more than willing to look at it. But January is always a very difficult window.”
