La Liga giants Real Madrid want to rope in Tottenham Hotspur superstar Dele Alli and are ready to offer them Mateo Kovakic as a part of a swap deal, according to reports.
Alli’s current contract with the Spurs will expire in 2022 and it is understood that Real Madrid would have to offer a stratospheric fee to tempt Tottenham to sell their prized asset.
But Spurs chief have made it clear that the England midfielder is not for sale at any price.
However, according to Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino is keen to land Alli as he feels that the England star is the next Galactico.
And the Los Blancos chief is now reportedly eyeing to offload Madrid outcast Kovacic as a part of a swap deal in Janaury.
Alli has already parted ways with long-term representatives Impact Sports Management and it is believed that this could be the stepping stone towards a dream move to Real Madrid.
And now super-agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola are among those happy to help the England star in taking his footballing career to a higher pedestal.
Alli as usual has made an incredible start to the new season – with two goals already to his name from six Premier League games.
Croatia star Kovacic, 23, has gone down the pecking order at Real Madrid – with Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Isco and Casemiro in Zidane’s squad.
He has featured in just two La Liga games for Real Madrid this season.
Real Madrid have been quiet in the last transfer window – spending just £40million on Flamengo youngster Vinicius Junior after their transfer ban was lifted in the summer.
