Peter Schmeichel has called out fellow Manchester United veteran Rio Ferdinand.
The retired Danish goalkeeper has decided to step into the ring – 14 years after hanging up his boots.
Schmeichel uploaded a video on his Twitter page, where he was practicing on the pads to.
captioned the post: ‘Maybe @rioferdy5 we meet some day’.
Standing at 6″3′, Peter Schmeichel was always renowned for his intimidating physique.

Peter Schmeichel hit the headlines in 1998 after getting himself into a drunk fight with Manchester United’s bad boy Roy Keane.
The two locked horns during a pre-season tour of Asia and Keane ended up headbutting the Danish goalkeeper.
In his autobiography, Keane said: “He said ‘I’ve had enough of you, it’s time we sorted this out’. So I said ‘Okay’ and we had a fight.
“There was a lot of noise – Peter’s a big lad.”
