Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann has once again shot down rumours suggesting that he is leaving the club at the end of this season.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with several sources quoting that he has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League giants.
However, Griezmann has been very vocal about his desire to stay at the club – with him constantly claiming that he is not looking to leave Atleti.
Griezmann did concede that if clubs like Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were to come for him, it would be hard to turn the offer down.
The 26-year-old claimed that he likes the weather in Madrid, “It’s sunny in Madrid, I feel good there. There’s no need to change.”
Griezmann was on the scoresheet in France’s 3-1 win over Luxembourg as he converted a penalty to help the Les Bleus.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Chelsea have also entered the race to sign the talisman.
Foottheball sources have now revealed that Chelsea have shown huge interest in securing the services of Griezmann in the summer.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is very fond of the French striker and believes that he is the perfect player to bolster his front-line.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will now be given £200million summer transfer budget as they are now set to return to Champions League, according to FootTheBall sources.
Chelsea are now keen on securing the services of the Atletico Madrid forward after Diego Costa has been linked again with a mega-money money offer from the Chinese Super League and Conte is also eyeing to offload Belgian striker Batshuayi in the summer – only a season after roping him in.
Earlier Antoine was quoted as saying: “I have no intention of leaving Atletico Madrid, for Paris Saint-Germain, China, the USA, Russia, or elsewhere,” he told L’Equipe.
