Barcelona players are reportedly angry because Paris Saint-Germain Neymar wants to make switch to Real Madrid in the near future.
Barcelona were left shattered and stunned when Neymar made a shock switch to Ligue 1 giants PSG on a world-record £200million transfer deal.
The Brazilian forward has displayed red-hot form since moving to PSG in the summer – with 14 goals to his name in 15 games for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions.
However, according to reports, Real Madrid are already planning to rope in Neymar in the near future as a long-term replacement for the struggling Cristiano Ronaldo.
And Spanish website Don Balon claim that Barcelona players are furious at the possibility of Neymar playing for their arch rivals Real Madrid in the future.
Neymar has been a long-term transfer target for the Los Blancos.
The Brazilian superstar underwent a medical at the Bernabeu back in 2012 but he eventually opted to make a switch to Barcelona from Santos.
Cristiano Ronaldo has made a poor start in the La Liga this season and has been struggling to find form – with just two goals to his name so far.
The sudden dip in Ronaldo’s form has now intensified rumours which claim that the Real Madrid bosses want to replace him with Neymar.
And Don Balon say that this has not gone down well with the Barcelona players.
They are also not happy with the position of power that Neymar reportedly holds at PSG.
Reports say that Neymar has the power to choose which matches he will play in and the Barcelona players feel that this is unprofessional.
They realise that Neymar was a huge asset for Barcelona but know very well that the Catalan club will not be able to fight competition from arch rivals Real Madrid to secure his signatures again.
Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague says that Real Madrid want to rope in Neymar but he believes that a deal will not go through anytime soon.
“They have the money to get him but he won’t go to Real Madrid next season,” he told Sky Sports.
