Only New York Knicks Can Lure Antoine Griezmann From Atletico Madrid

Antoine Griezmann has completely shut down rumours linking him with a move away from Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman claimed that he will only leave the club to play alongside Derrick Rose at the New York Knicks.

Antoine has been constantly linked with Manchester United despite him denying that any such move is in the pipeline.

However, Griezmann has at times hinted that he could move away from Madrid in the future – but if the move was this summer, he would just leave for the NBA side.

“I would only leave Atleti to play with Derrick Rose,” the 26-year-old jokingly told Cadena Ser’s El Larguero.

The 26-year-old talisman had another stellar season as he scored 16 goals in 26 appearances in all competition.

Although, Griezmann has once again failed to guide Atletico Madrid to a trophy as the Rojiblancos are set to finish third in the La Liga and have already been knocked out from the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.And Griezmann stated that if he is to remain in the Spanish capital, he wants to win silverware.

“I am very comfortable here and now have to meet my representative with (Atletico Madrid CEO) Miguel Angel Gil Marin and see what happens,” he said.Griezmann

“I am happy. If I am happy in my personal life I will be happy in the profession. I love [coach Diego] Simeone and I love my mates. I’m still as happy as the first day I introduced myself. I wish I could continue to enjoy my private and sports life.”

“I want titles, it’s what I want and what I lack. I give everything in Atletico for.”
