Former Real Madrid play-makers Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria are said ti be interested in returning to the club according to latest reports coming from Spain.
The duo were together at the Santiago Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013, when Ozil moved to Arsenal – Di Maria followed him to the Premier League the following summer when he joined Manchester United.
The Argentine has since moved to Paris Saint Germain, but is now looking to go back to Madrid.
The German is contracted to Arsenal till 2018, while Di Maria signed a 4-year deal with the Paris outfit in 2015.
However, FootTheBall sources claim that both players want to return to the Spanish capital and have already working to make the deals happen.
Although it is not clear yet whether Los Blancos boss Zinadine Zidane would be willing to bring the two stars back to the Bernabeu.
Arsenal are currently preparing a new deal for Mesut Ozil, but it looks unlikely that the midfielder will sign it going by the latest reports.
