Manchester United want star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay at the club till 2019 after the Swede showcasing his goal scoring talent since arriving from PSG.
The 35-year-old has been in prolific form for the Red Devils since joining from Paris Saint Germain for free in the summer.
Ibrahimovic has a one-year extension clause in his contract that Manchester United will activate, however, new reports suggest that the club want to add a third year to the talisman’s stay at Old Trafford.
Zlatan had a fantastic start to life in England, but then had a drought during October – as Manchester United struggled to win without the goal scoring prowess of the towering Swede.
However, Zlatan’s has found his magical touch back as he is banging goals on a regular basis and Jose Mourinho wants to keep the former AC Milan star at Old Trafford till 2019.
The 35-year-old recently won the Player of the Month award for December after leading United’s attack and guiding the club to 9 consecutive wins, the record that ended after draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
