Earlier reports suggested that John Terry was leading the revolt against Conte after he along with Nathanial Chalobah, Kurt Zouma, Asmir Begovic and Nathan Ake were left on the bench by the Blues boss.
However, the long-standing Blues skipper has out-rightly denied the claims. Terry’s rebuttal to FootTheBall on Instagram begets the question who is playing games in the blues dressing room
JT replied to a FootTheBall post on Instagram and stated that the rumour is absolutely untrue.
John Terry has often stated this season that he is happy to be on the bench as long as Chelsea continue their winning run.
The legendary Blues skipper will be out-of-contract at the end of this season, and is yet to be offered a new deal.
Terry is already working on his coaching badges and is expected to be in the Chelsea backroom staff sometime in the future.
However, Chelsea fans are adamant that they don’t want their ‘Captain, Leader, Legend’ to leave and have been urging the club to give him a contract extension.
JT has himself stated that he wants to end his career at the Stamford Bridge, however, the former England skipper has been linked with possible move to the Major League Soccer in the United States at the end of the current campaign.
