The French football production line shows no signs of slowing down. The 2018 World Champions might have lost to Argentina in the finals of the 2022 World Cup but they put a display of consistency that very few teams in the world can manage.

An endless pool of talents. That is what the French national team showed in the 2022 World Cup. The likes of Randal Kolo Muani announced themselves to the world. He might have had a costly miss at the end of the game against Argentina but he has had a season to remember with Eintracht Frankfurt.

If a talent like Muani was on the plane to the World Cup, a talent like Enzo Le Fee had to miss out despite their undeniable quality. That is a testament to the French production house of what kind of talent they produce every year and season. But how good is the central midfielder?

How good is Enzo Le Fee?

Born and raised in Lorient, Enzo Le Fee took his first steps in football way before joining the club that represents his city of birth. He joined La Vigilante in 2005 after which he joined Lorient youth system after three years.

Le Fee made his debut for Lorient B after slowly earning the respect and trust of the managers and coaches around him. Le Fee’s breakout season was in 2019/20. After establishing himself as a first-team regular, he became the lynchpin of his team’s midfield, orchestrating every important move for Lorient.

He has caught the eye of several European elites and might soon end up with a big money move after he confirmed he won’t be extending his stay with Lorient. Le Fee’s stats suggest he is ready for that said big move after his titanic rise to the club football scene and to say his time at Lorient should come to an end is no longer a stretch at all.

Enzo Le Fee is compared to the likes of Marco Verratti and Thiago Alcantara, due to his body orientation. He shows confidence on the ball that a player of his age is rarely seen. Player with shorter height tend to use the low centre of gravity to get past their oppoenets and Le Fee does just that.

In the 2022/23 season, to dot down some number, Le Fee has ammassed a total of 4.0 xA with seven assists already to his name. But it’s his defensive side of the game has seen him earn praise in recent times. With 2.2 tackles per 90 minutes, Lee Fee ranks third in this categpory in Ligue 1. Enzo Le Fee scout report

The Frenchman standing at 170cm is the real life example of how a modern day midfielder should carry himself on the pitch. With abundance of talent and versatility Enzo Le Fee will nly get better with time. Lorient have given him the stage to prove himself and he has grabbed the opportunity with open arms.

The next club that the 23 year old goes to needs to match his style of play. He can play in a range of positions – from a number 8 , number 6 and a number 10. Although given his skillsets, he can best perform a s a box-to-box midfielder in a double pivot.

It is not just his positioning on the pitch, but his intellegence when he has to press and help his teammates recover spaces. He is not your typical player who would do the dirty work, but when his team needs him, he isn’t shy of putting in a tackle or two.A hardworker and passionate footballer, Le Fee will cover acres of pitch in no time and is often compared to N’Golo Kante for this.
