Cristiano Ronaldo wants Real Madrid to launch a move for AC Milan star Andre Silva in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Real Madrid have made a poor start this season and are fourth in the La Liga table – eight points behind current league leaders Barcelona.
Real are worried as their front-three have failed to deliver in the La Liga this season.
Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale have scored only eight goals between them in La Liga so far.
The Los Blancos sealed a place in the knock-out of the Champions League but they finished second in their group and drew Paris Saint-German in the last-16.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidne is under pressure and is desperate to overturn their form as quickly as possible and has admitted in public that he will try everything possible to bolster the squad in January.
And recent reports have claimed that the Los Blancos bosses are eyeing to rope in a new forward in January or next summer.
Real Madrid has been heavily linked with Tottenham star Harry Kane while Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has also emerged as a potential target.
But, according to Diario Gol, Ronaldo does not want to see the Inter Milan striker at the Bernabeu.
Instead, Ronaldo has reportedly asked the club to launch a bid to secure the services of – Andre Silva in January.
Ronaldo believes his fellow Portugal team-mate Silva, who has 11 goals to his name in 18 games for his country, can add the much needed depth in the Los Blancos squad.
The Portuguese duo share the same agent, Jorge Mendes, who is a good friend of Real Madrid president Florentino Prerez.
Despite spending huge on transfers in the summer, AC Milan have made a disastrous start in the Serie A this season.
The report also claims that Silva would be available at a cheaper transfer fee than Icardi.
Earlier this month, Zidane was keen on roping in of Inter Milan froward Mauro Icardi but Real Madrid eventually dropped their interest in the Argentine forward as they are not willing to match the sky-high asking price.
