Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted a picture of himself working out to stay in shape. The 35-year-old is not involved in the World Cup qualifiers after he announced his retirement from international football in June.
Zlatan was spotted wearing an altitude mask in the picture as the towering striker enters the latter stages of his glorious career.
Manchester United are set to face two heavyweights in Liverpool and Chelsea after the international break and it looks like Zlatan doesn’t want to miss out on the action.
The former Barcelona man has been famous for his strict training regime, and his new team-mates also acknowleged the impact the Swede has on them.
“He’s unbelievable,” United midfielder Ander Herrera said, “He doesn’t lose one training session. He trains every day at his best trying to get everyone at their highest level.”
“He is very, very aggressive and demanding, but in a good way because every day he wants to win every training session. We are very lucky to have Zlatan with us.”
“You see the way he behaves. The way he trains even before the session, he is always stretching, taking care of his body, that is the way a professional has to behave.”
“When I was not in a top team I used to admire these kind of players and I wanted to be one of them one day, being at Man United eight or nine season, but it is not easy.”
“He’s an example for every one of us not just the young players. I am not young, not old, I’m in the middle at 26 and he is an example for me as well.”
The Swede’s magic doesn’t just work on fans but even his team-mates can’t stop admiring his awesomeness.
