Chinese smartphone and software maker Vivo announced on Wednesday that they have agreed with FIFA to sponsor 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments.
According to Vivo, they signed a six-year contract for a second-tier sponsorship running through the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Vivo is the third Chinese business entity, after Wanda and Hisense, to sign sponsorship deals with FIFA.

“As a Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo wishes to grow into a world top brand with the help of a top sports events like FIFA World Cup,” said Vivo vice president Ni Xudong.
