Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli who is currently on loan at AC Milan could move to Lazio this transfer window according to a report in the Italian website Il Messaggero.
AC Milan had an option to buy the stylish forward but are not very keen on making the move permanent.
The Italian international will not be guaranteed a place in the starting eleven at Anfield and will be looking to move away in order to get more playing time.
Balotelli is managed by football’s super-agent Mino Raiola, who is working to get Super Mario a move to the Roma-based club.
Raiola’s agency works for some of the biggest superstars in football including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.
The Dutch agent is working on a move that will see the 25-year-old striker play at the Stadio Olimpico.
Raiola believes that he can persuade Lazio to sign Balotelli, despite the fact that his wage demands will be a strain on their budget.
Liverpool had signed the Italian forward in 2014 from AC Milan for a fee of around £15 million to replace Luis Suarez.
In his first season with the Reds, Balotelli could just manage four goals in twenty-eight appearances.
He was loaned back to Milan for the 2015/16 season but failed to impress at his old club too, scoring just three goals.
