Ronaldinho Returns To Barcelona As Club Ambassador After Nine Years

Barcelona have confirmed the return of former star Ronaldinho as he takes the role of club ambassador at the Camp Nou.

The 36 year old Brazilian enjoyed a five year spell at the Catalan club where he won the Champions league, two La Liga titles and two Spanish Supercups.

Ronaldinho also recieved the FIFA Player of the Year Award and the Ballon d’Or for his exceptional individual performances at Football Club Barcelona.

He will be officially unveiled at the Camp Nou on Friday, nine years after leaving the club for Italian giants AC Milan.

Ronaldinho is regarded as one of the greatest and most skillful midfielder of his generation after his arrival to the La Liga from Paris Saint Germain in 2003.

His three year spell in Milan was the end of his time in Europe. Ronaldinho finally put an end to his glittering career in 2015 after playing for Atletico Mineiro, Queretaro and Fluminense in Brazilian Serie A.
