Real Madrid president Florentino Perez received a suspicious package containing white powder. Madrid police has been called to investigate the suspicious package which was received at Santiago Bernabeu on Friday.
Officials said a package was received which was addressed to the chief Perez raised suspicion when club employees noticed white powder coming out of it.
According to the source, test of the white powder will be conducted, and the package was sent from Italy.
Spokesperson in the Hazmat suits spent hours at the stadium but dismissed any threat.
Real Madrid played Italian club Napoli in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday night and advanced 6-2 on aggregate after a 3-1 win in Naples.
The Italians led 1-0 at the break, but goals from Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Morata, and a Dries Mertens own goal, helped Real Madrid to seal a place in the last-eight.
They will host Real Betis at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
