Portugal have announced the 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo leads the final list with head coach Fernando Santos also including key players – Sporting star William Carvalho, Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho and Besiktas duo Pepe and Ricardo Quaresma.
Euro Cup 2016 winner, Renato Sanches will not don the Portugal shirt in the 2018 World Cup, having failed to seal a place in the previously declared preliminary 35-man squad.
However, Ruben Neves is the most famous omission.
