Inter Milan coach Stefano Pioli has suggested that his team could win silverware this season.
Pioli has been instrumental in changing the Nerazzurri’s fortunes ever-since taking over the reigns in November.
Pioli succeeded Frank de Boer on November 8 and since then Inter have lost just one Serie A match as they prepare to take-on league leaders Juventus on Sunday.
De Boer was accused of alienating some of the players, but Pioli has turned things around at the San Siro – having retsored unity amongst the players and the staff.
Pioli said that he is already looking at the future and he feels that the current Inter set-up has the potential to bring more success to the club.
“I think the quality is in the squad,” he said.
“But as well as those values that make us think of a good present, there are also club owners who want to make Inter great again in the future.”
“I think we can challenge to win silverware again.”
