New Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed that he demanded for 10 new players during the start of the season.
Out of which he signed a total of 6 big names which include Illkay Gundogan, John Stones, Claudio Bravo, Leroy Sane, Nolito and Gabriel Jesus.
The Spanish plans to overhaul the Manchester City squad as he is demanding a set of complete new full backs and strikers which was revealed through the book ‘Pep Guardiola – The Evolution’.
Pep Guardiola held a meeting with the club owners in Dubai in which he made clear that the squad is too old and he needs new signings to replace them. It is believed that Guardiola handed the list of players that he would want in the upcoming years during the meeting.
Guardiola is willing to rely on David Silva, Fernandinho, Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne until new signings arrive.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Aymeric Laporte are top targets for the Citizens. Though Pep Guardiola will not spend big in the January and is looking only for players under the age of 25.
