Allegri was set to quit the club with his relationship getting strained with some of the senior players and the media.

However, the club intervened and sorted the problems. Max has an impeccable record since joining the Bianconeri in 2014, having won six of the seven major domestic trophies on offer.

Massimiliano had public bust-ups with major stars including Paulo Dybala and Leonardo Bonucci, and it was expected that he would leave the club.

Allegri’s ambitions to create a dynasty also made a favorite to land the Arsenal job.

While, the Italian also met with Barcelona chiefs after Luis Enrique announced his decision to quit the Blaugrana at the end of this season.

However, with Wenger set to stay at Arsenal – Barcelona were the only club interested in his services, but the Catalan giants will now have to look elsewhere.

Juventus see Allegri as the new Marcello Lippi and want him to stay at the club for a very long time.
