According to reports, Maradona blames the star player for Argentina’s lack lustre performance and suggested that the Barca star should be treated ‘just like any other player.’

Maradona, who led Argentina to victory in 1986 with his ‘hand of god’ play, slammed Messi after watching his country lose their second-consecutive final.
‘You’re left saying to yourself, “Dammit, are you Argentinian or Swedish?”, he said to local media.
