Juventus have identified Christian Benteke as the replacement for Alvaro Morata.
Morata has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid, and it is almost confirmed that the Spanish striker will leave the Turin based club.
Juventus are expected to make a bid for the Belgium international soon.
Benteke could not cement his place in the Liverpool first-team, making just 14 starts, even though he scored 9 goals during the 2015/16 season.
Liverpool are expected to replace Benteke with Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi who is also from Belgium according to former defender Steve Nicol.
“He’s young, scoring goals in Ligue 1 – which doesn’t always translate into the Premier League,” Nicol told ESPN.
“He’s an up and coming player, he’s an international, he’s only 22, he’s got ability, and he scores goals.
“I think there’s a good possibility he goes to Liverpool over Spurs. I think there’s a good chance this kid goes to Liverpool as one Belgian will go out in Benteke, and another will come in, in Batshuayi.”
