Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has revealed that his club wanted to avoid facing Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Juve beat Barca 3-0 on aggregate as the Bianconeri eased through to the semi-finals of Europe’s elite club competition.

However, Dybala has revealed that Juventus wanted to face any team but Barcelona.

“When we watched the draw for the quarter-finals together, we all agreed that we wanted every team but not Barcelona,” Dybala said to Mediaset Premium.

“Now I don’t see any big favourite, I think all the four teams have the same chance of going all the way. Let’s see who we get.”Juventus

Juventus held Barca for a draw at the Camp Nou with rock soled defending.

The Italian giants have conceded just 2 goals in their last 10 games in the UCL, as they look to seal the Champions League crown.

“Not conceding against a team like Barcelona is not easy,” said the forward.

“We are very happy with this achievement against such a great side.”

“Considering all the games leading up to this, including PSG, we knew that we had to be solid.”
