Italian forward Graziano Pelle has completed the move to the Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shandong Luneng, said the CSL club here on Monday.

Foottheball.com was the first to break the news on July 9.

The 30-year-old Italian international played for Dutch side Feyenoord before moving to Southampton in the English Premier League in the summer of 2014. Pelle scored 30 goals during 81 appearances for the Saints.

Due to his successful experiences in Southampton, Pelle earned a position in Conte’s 23-man Italy squad for the just-ended Euro 2016. Pelle sealed the wins for Italy respectively against Belgium in group stage and Spain in round of last 16.

Pelle’s transfer fee to Luneng has not been disclosed.
