Real Madrid midfielder Isco is still attracting interest from England as Tottenham Hotspurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring the Spaniard to White Hart Lane.
Isco was heavily linked with a move to north-London during the summer transfer window but any move failed to materialize.
The 24-year-old has cemented his place in Real’s starting eleven, having started 5 of the last 6 games under Zinadine Zidane but Pochettino is still keen to add the midfielder to his team.
Isco has entered the final year and a half on his contract with just 18-months remaining on his current deal, but the Los Blancos are yet to offer him a new deal.
Tottenham had made an inquiry for the midfielder in summer but did not pursue it with a bid.
However, Spurs could face stiff competition from city-rivals Chelsea if Zidane decides to sell Isco.
Isco had insisted last month that he did not consider leaving Real in the summer, but if a good offer was to come things could change.
“The club said nothing and I never looked for anything to leave. In the end, I’m responsible and that’s where I must improve.
“There are ups and downs and I won’t give up, I fight to the end and want to prove that I’m fit for Madrid.”
