Iran’s Esteghlal Khuzestan dropped their first points of the 2017 AFC Champions League campaign on Tuesday as Ismaeel Mohammed’s goal earned Qatar’s Lekhwiya a 1-1 draw with the Iranian champions.
Hasan Beytsaeid put the Iranian side in front after seven minutes when he picked himself off the floor to convert from the penalty spot as Esteghlal Khuzestan sought to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
But Ismaeel Mohammed’s header across the Iranian side’s goal in the 11th minute leveled the scores and earn Lekhwiya a draw.

After three rounds of the games, Esteghlal Khuzestan remained atop of the Group B table with seven points, followed by Lekjwiya with five points.
