Google has joined the fray for the upcoming Euro 2016, with two doodles, one of which kicks in (quite literally) for the beautiful game.
The doodle features flags of all the 24 national sides participating in this tournament, with the Eiffel Tower in the centre, dressed in the colours of the French flag, kicking a football. This is also the first time for the Euros to feature 24 teams.
The other doodle features a cockerel, in the red, white and blue of the French flag, heralding the start of the tournament with a cockadoodledoo.
Euro 2016 will be played in France from June 10, with the final on July 10. The venues for the tournament will be Paris, Lille, Lyon, Saint-Denis, Nice, Toulouse, Saint-Etienne, Marseille, Bordeaux and Lens.
Hosting the event this year, France will kick-start the tournament against Romania. Defending champions Spain, will play on June 13 against Czech Republic. Germany and Spain have won this tournament the most number of times, with 3 wins each.
