Former Manchester United player, Ryan Giggs is now the second favorite to be appointed as the new Latics manager. Gary Caldwell was sacked from the Wigan job on Tuesday after promoting the club to the Championship last term.

caldwellRyan Giggs still awaits his first managerial role after leaving the assistant job at Old Trafford this season. He has also expressed that coaching in the Championship or the Premier league is something he will be looking forward.

Giggs admitted “Swansea’s ambitions didn’t match my own” as the club appointed Bob Bradley instead.
giggsKarl Robinson is the favorite with the likes of Tim Sherwood and Nigel Pearson also contending with the Welshman for the vacant Wigan job.
