FC Barcelona celebrated with their fans on Sunday evening the 24th Spanish BBVA Primera Liga title with a parade through the streets of the city of Barcelona.

Under strict security measures, the parade started at the World Trade Centre and followed two of the city’s avenues, Parallel and Reina Maria Cristina, where at some points there were big screens so that fans did not miss any moment of the parade.

The players and coach were on the top of the bus dancing, greeting fans, sharing the moments through their social media and hoisting the trophy they won on Saturday when winning 3-0 to Granada in Los Carmenes stadium.

FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique said after winning that he would “remember the people who have supported me in the difficult times and the fans who have always been with us”.

On Saturday the team’s fans took to the streets in Barcelona as well to celebrate the victory at Canaletes, in the centre of the city, where they traditionally celebrate the team’s successes.
FC Barcelona has won eight Primera Liga titles over the last 11 years.
