Turkey will battle against Croatia in the opening match of EURO 2016’s Group D on Sunday at the Parc des Prices in Paris.
Turkey have lost their last three opening games in the EUROs, and will be looking to start the campaign on a positive note this time.
Croatia, on the other hand will be looking to take inspiration from a return to the place where they achieved their greatest success, as it was at Parc des Princes where they finished third at the 1998 World Cup in France, beating the Dutch 2-1 in the third-place play-off.
Turkey and Croatia share a group with favourites Spain and Czech Republic, making it a tricky group, Spain are likely to finish as group leaders and the rest of the teams will be looking to finish as high as possible.
