Spurs midfielder Eric Dier has committed his future to the club after signing a new five-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2021.
The English player becomes one of the latest Spurs players who signed a new contract with the club in the last one year. Previously this summer, Christian Eriksen also penned down a new deal with the club.

Dier had arrived at Tottenham from Sporting CP back in the year 2014. He started as defender but now on to his third season at the club, the talented player has developed himself as a holding midfielder for both England and Spurs.
The English midfielder spent his childhood days in Portugal where he started training at Sporting’s elite academy in Lisbon before being picked up by Sporting, where he got his first opportunity to kick-start his senior career in football.

“There are many reasons why I wanted to commit my future to Tottenham,” he explained in a fan based Q&A session on Twitter after the news of the new deal was confirmed.
“We have a fantastic squad full of young, exciting players. We’ve got the new stadium on its way and obviously the fantastic facilities at the training ground.”
“And then of course we have a fantastic manager (Mauricio Pochettino) who is great for all of us young players. He really looks after us and makes sure we keep improving.”
