The all favourite derby between Manchester United and Manchester City gets under at the Old Trafford on Sunday.

Head to head tally on paper goes for the Red Devils, with all-time goal tally in the 169 previous derbies standing at 249-234 to United with City winning 49 times to their rivals’ 70.

Coming in to the Derby, both teams have enjoyed fairly decent success during the week, City with a thrilling win at home against Sevilla, and United drawing in Moscow, cooling off a dangerous CSKA side.

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal claims that City have the advantage in the match. He maybe right here as the Blues have won four matches on the bounce since their loss to Spurs that saw hat tricks from Sterling, not to mention coming from behind to win during the Champions League.

City’s greatest asset seems to be their counter attacking ability, in particular from the speed on the wings provided by Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Jesus Navas.

Sitting behind their city rivals and playing at home, its all in for Manchester United.
