Egypt national team manager Héctor Cúper has announced the 29-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The provisional squad includes Major League Soccer’s Amro Tarek and Omar Gaber and along with Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny despite his ongoing battle with an ankle injury.
Egypt qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1990. The team will play in Group A along with hosts Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.
