Real Madrid ace, Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to sign a new fiver year contract with the Galacticos until June 2021.
The former Manchester United man will stay at the Santiago Bernebau outfit until he is 36 if he see’s out the new contract.
An official event to disclose the deal is set to take place today. The 31 year old, Cristiano Ronaldo earns around £365,000-a-week which is not likely to be increased by a distinct margin but it will surely keep him as the club’s top earner ahead of Gareth Bale.
The Welshman signed a new contract with the Los Blancos in recent weeks making him the best earning player in the world only behind teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo has the worst goalscoring start to his career this campaign. He has scored 371 goals for Real Madrid in 359 games after joining the club in 2009.
Zinedine Zidane’s thoughts on Ronaldo after Leganes game: “I’m happy because he is a player who has to finish his career in Madrid. It is unique,” Zidane said in comments reported by Marca.
“His dream is to finish here and why I’m glad he has renewed and will end it in this white shirt as I did.”
