Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been charged with misconduct by the FA after being sent to the stands against Swansea City.
The Blues boss appeared to be frustrated with Swansea for slowing down the game and was sent off in the 43rd minute of their 1-0 win in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Conte watched on from the stands as Antonio Rudiger clinched the 55th minute winner from a header after N’Golo Kante’s initial effort on goal was deflected.
The Italian apologised for his actions after the game but now he might face a fine.
The Blues boss has time until 6pm on 5 December to respond to the misconduct charge.
“After the game it is normal and right to apologise for what happened during the game,” Conte said after Wednesday’s win over the Swans.
“In the first half Swansea was wasting time.
“I said this a few times to the fourth official, I didn’t see something had changed in the first half.
“I was frustrated for this situation and tried to tell again.
“The referee took this decision but I apologise. I made a mistake.
“During the game I suffer with my players. It is a pity.”
